Saturday, APRIL 2, 2022 – The Texas Czech Genealogical Society (TCGS) invites you to attend “Relaunching to New Horizons in 2022 and Beyond”. The in person events begins at 9:00 AM at the Caldwell, Civic and Visitors Center, 103 Highway 21W, Caldwell, Texas. Four speakers will discuss the journey Czechs traveled from the 1880s to present day and beyond; the bravery and determination of our Czech ancestors to make their dreams of a better life become a reality. All day a full library with books and materials brought from the TCGS Temple office library will be accessible. There will be an open floor plan during Saturday’s program which means you can sit in the library/book area doing genealogy research and also be able to view and hear the speakers and all presentations. Many useful books, including genealogy research books, maps, surname lists and much more, will be available. Most importantly, knowledgeable workers will be available to assist you with your genealogical research. There will be a Silent Auction and Czech Gift Shop, You do not have to be a Texas Czech Genealogical Society member to attend.
