The Texas Czech Genealogical Society (TCGS) invites you to attend the August 10, 2024 in person event From the Cradle to the Grave and Everything in Between at the Caldwell Civic and Visitor Center. You do not have to be a TCGS member or of Czech heritage to attend. Everyone is welcome. Saturday, August 10, 2024 - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (registration begins at 8:00 AM), Caldwell Civic Center,103 W. Texas Highway 21, Caldwell, TX 77836 The following speakers will make presentations: Tommy Ryan and Patsy Simek - Orphan Train Riders to Burleson County; Dreanna Belden - The Portal to Texas History; A Powerful Tool for History and Genealogy; Ken Wiltz - History of the Funeral Industry and Changes to Come and Henry Mayo – Searching Texas Land Records, the History of Brazos and Caldwell Counties in Texas. Registration includes kolache and coffee or juice and a catered lunch, silent auction and sales tables with our newest 2024 Christmas Ornaments.
